Glorious Tiara of Pius XI

A gift from the people of Desio, a suburb of Milan (where he was born).

Yours truly was fortunate to see this tiara a few times in the Vatican.

It really should still be used.

  1. At least for the Easter and Christmas Blessings. The Tiara should not be in a museum if that lens of continuity which the Holy Father speaks so often about is to be used. Banishing the Tiara completely instead of explaining its' Tradition to the Faithful is rupture. Pure and simple.
