From Rome's Jesuit University: Tradition of Christmas Carols

Per fortuna, some traditions have remained.

For generations Rome's Gregoriana has maintained a nice tradition on the last week of school before Christmas break: the students from Rome's different colleges (seminaries) sing Christmas hymns between classes for a few days.

Monday those from the Pontifical North American College sang.  It was nice.  And those from the Venerable English College sang.  It was nice.  And who was the best?  Well, that would be the Irish, seen here.

Nice job, guys, and extra points for the splendid old banner of St. Paddy (Go Irish)!

  1. Though not entirely visible the Irish did for the most part wear green of some shade or another, perhaps not forty but close enough.
