  2. This is a friar of the Order of Minims. They were founded by St. Francis de Paola. The order flourished from the 15th to the 18th century but declined after the French revolution. It is quite small now. It was in the Minims' church of San Andrea della Fratti that Alphonse Ratisbon experienced his miraculous conversion and where St. Maximillian Kolbe celebrated his first Mass.

  3. What Order is this? Too bad he's old. I have an idea it's one of the Eastern Rite small Orders (Basilians, Maronite rite, etc.) but maybe it's just an Order of the Latin Rite rarely seen.

    Nice scapular and belt. Never saw the scapular like that before.
