Ottawa: the Bishop's Cathedra

Very nice to see they kept the cathedra over these years. Is it not gorgeous? And full of symbolism. Thank you, holy angels, for having protected this fine work of art during this difficult era.

  1. Our fiercest foe is the damnable apathy that has become the hallmark of the Catholic faithful. Not much sleep is lost in Catholicland these days over the fall of Christendom, the denial of the rights of the God, the eradication of Catholic identity or the international rejection of the social kingship of Christ.

  2. A comfort and a balm. It speaks of the "other-worldliness" of the episcopacy. Bishops are "watchmen" Ezekiel 33:6.
