Four Years of This Blog: Thank You!

"Jesus, I trust in Thee."

In the midst of the ravages of the enemy and the efforts of hell, Catholic Internet ministry continues full steam ahead.

On the Internet there are still so few Catholic images and this blog is just a small effort to change that.  Just think how many pornographic images there are on the Internet and how few Catholic images there are?

This blog was founded four years ago at an Internet point on the Tiber River on May 18, 2006.  The blog motto has proven to be: "But for the grace of God."

Thank you to everybody for the support!

I am still trying to pay for my new camera and the day of reckoning came with the credit card bill.

All faithful readers who wish to say thank you, I say thank you in return.

It is an honor and a pleasure to participate in this ministry as a layman at the service of Holy Mother Church.

All donations welcome.

  2. Congratulations!
You are right: The internet needs more beautiful catholic photos (especially if you consider how much dirt is out there...). I always try to add some good catholic images to my blog as well.
Keep on posting! Your work is appreciated and your blog is badly needed!

  3. Congratulations and thank you for your internet apostolate. Your photos both bring back fond memories and prompt me to visit new places in Rome that I missed when I was a student.

    May God bless you.

  7. Congratulations JP. Your photos bring me great pleasure and nostalgia from my days in Rome. I look forward to seeing those sights again on future pilgrimages. Hope to get to meet you one day in person and maybe bring you some pilgrims to augment your work and business as a guide.

    with my blessing and prayers,

  9. I know this is late-but happy anniversary, John!

You are soooo lucky to be living in Rome! If I could go back there [haven't been since 1983], I'd love to have you as a guide!

And you're right; the Internet is so full of bad stuff. All the more reason to get more 'Real Catholic' stuff online!
