Writing the Name of a Diocese in Latin: Archidioecesis Paulopolitana et Minneapolitana (Saint Paul and Minneapolis)

From the land of the Archiepiscopus Sancti Pauli.

The Latin in the stamp is a bit fancy -- it's curial Latin.  Pretty much the normal way to represent the name of a city which is based on a person's name.  For example, San Francisco would be "Franciscopolis," and the diocese would be "Dioecesis Franciscopolitana."

Of course, the medievals would never do that!

Thanks, Greg!
