Return of the Roman Style Chasuble

Burnaby, Canada.

  1. Good to see that. I was in the Holy Land recently (Deo gratias) and noticed the total absence of Roman chasubles from their sacristies. Sad, really sad.

  2. In France and Belgium you'd be lucky to see any type of chasuble. Many priests here do not have the energy to vest in anything other than a stole. The Roman chasuble is a magnificent vestment and it is wonderful to see it in increasing use again.

  3. This is amazing. Unfortunately with the new trends that the argentine bishop of Rome is setting, we return to boring uninspiring liturgical practices. Plain vanilla.... They call it "New Evangelization".
