The Foundation of the Jesuits

Ignatius and six companions dedicated themselves to the service of God at a chapel on the hill of Montmartre, outside Paris.  This was the foundation of the Society of Jesus.

Always a thrill to visit this holy place, when in Paris.

    In about 30 years, the Jesuits might well be down to only about 6 members....if not extinct.
