Catholic Culture: the Street Shrine

The holy image/shrine is a blessed object.

As you pass by let your kids see you offer a prayer every time as our ancestors would have done.

    Very (Ancient) Roman. I think the practice is wonderful and that for the most part these shrines aren't defaced by the rebellious is a testimony to the way the Church has cultivated Italy, and vice-versa.
