St. Patrick's Day in Rome

The place to be is the Pontifical Irish College on St. Paddy's Day.

Each year the guys put on a really fine play, bringing together in a grand mixture many of the stock elements of comedy.

Irish seminarians are the best - always a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh.

This year the dramatis personae even included two guys in birettas and even a guy in a mantelletta!

Nice job, guys!

It has to be tough on the seminarians during these days of the fallout from the abuse reports. But they are the hope of the future.

    Vivat et floreat Hibernia!
