Fr. Paul Marx, PhD: An American Saint

He was ordained priest in this same chapel in 1947 at the Benedictine Abbey of St. John's at Collegeville, USA.  Photo taken in 2009.

In 1981 he founded Human Life International: http://www.hli.org/.

Like Mother M. Angelica, he is an American saint.

  1. What a shame the radical liberal dissenting place St. John's Abbey has turned into since Vatican II.

Once, it was the largest (over 300) Benedictine monastery of monks in the world. In the two years prior to Vatican II, it began experimenting with the Mass...a precursor to what actually happened in 1969.

Since 1965, it has become a seedbed for every liturgical lunatic expression, and the supporter of dissident theology . It has also had some of it's monks exposed for the pedohiles and sexual perverts they are (men ordained in the mid 1960's and early 1970's who went on to molest children and youth in the 1980's and 90's!!).

God Bless Fr. Marx. If I remember correctly, he was persecuted even by his own monastery for being orthodox and traditional.

The works of Fr. Marx will go on. That of the St. John's monks will die out when the last of this aged house of less than 100 monks (average age, 70+), is dead.

Not too long to go. Their legacy of the last 40 years is a disgrace.

Except for Fr. Marx of course!!!!!!!!
