Very nice to see bishops entombed inside a cathedral. Seen here in Ottawa, as in Washington, D.C. Rare these days in North America, but would be nice to see the same in places such as St. Paul, Chicago, etc.
Can. 1242 Bodies are not to be buried in churches unless it is a question of burying in their own church the Roman Pontiff, cardinals, or diocesan bishops, including retired ones.
In St. Louis MO and in Belleville, IL the (Arch)bishops are entombed in the Cathedrals.
