Ecce sacerdos magnus, qui in diebus suis, placuit Deo! "Behold the great priest, who in his days, pleased God".
Leo Cardinal Burke is an excellent shepherd of God's flock. He is part of a new batch of bishops that will eventually restore all things in Christ via orthodox liturgy and catholic tradition. The Church has lost so much in the past 40 years! With the guidance of such good bishops (like Cardinal Burke, Cardinal Ranjith, Bishop Athanasius Schneider and few others) we hope that the auto-destruction mode in which the church has been set on comes to an end!
Yesterday, I watched live from St. Peter's Basilica the rite of ordinations where Pope Benedict XVI consecrated 5 new bishops. Compare this to similar ceremonies that took place before the changes of Vatican II, one finds sticking differences between now and then, and a clear departure from tradition. Where is the continuity? I have posted some photos here:
Congratulations to His Eminence !
