If I'm not mistaken, Cardinal Tisserant was not a champion of Catholic orthodoxy and Catholic tradition, but rather a progressive. The Cardinals of his era that were true champions of the Catholic Faith and tradition, especially in the Mass warning of the errors of the Novus Ordo and the damage that would be caused if introduced (wise warnings that Paul VI ignored), were Cardinals Ottaviani, Bacci, Dell'Aqua, Antonuitti, and afew others. Tisserant on the other hand, might have been personally offosed to much of Vatican II, but bowed his head and went along with the disaster.
