President of the Italian Bishops Conference: Angelo Cardinal Bagnasco

He was out for a morning stroll and by chance we met here.

Seems like we often meet: once at S. Maria Maggiore.  Once in the Apostolic Palace.  Once in front of the Cardinal's Palace in Genova.

A good and holy priest.

  1. Yes, that's true. But not traditional enough to become the next Pope. Who will that be? Not for a long time I hope.....and I hope it's Burke. Long shot I know.

Too bad Bagnasco dressed in clerical suit and slacks, and not the traditional Cardinal's cassock and sash at least.
