Pectoral Cross

Nice to see a return to nice-looking, precious pectoral crosses.

  1. Indeed. I'm glad to have a bishop who favors real pontificals, not these wimpy mitres, and crosiers that don't look like crosiers.

Back to how it should be: Precious pectoral crosses, pontifical dalmatics, precious mitres, and gold crosiers!

  2. The pectoral cross worn by the bishops and pope does not have a Corpus because the they themselves are the sacrifice for the flock, the Church. Their cross is surely a heavy one to bear.
