First Mitre on Papal Coat-of-Arms

In 1971 the archpriest of the Vatican Basilica at that time had these new outside doors installed on the rear entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. This is the first example of the papal coat-of-arms without tiara. Without doubt there are some negative and retrogressive aspects that result with this change.
