Confessional Box

Basilica of St. Mary, Minneapolis.

Such a holy word to have located above the entrance, the last thing the penitent sees upon opening the door to enter, thereupon which he sees the crucifix, kneeler, and screen for anonimity.

Pax (peace)!

And be not afraid.  His mercy awaits us.

  1. Most of these confessionals are used for storage. So sad! In any event, stay away from Confession at the Basilica -- they are notorious for not following the valid form for absolution. And for getting away with it.
