I don't mind the lack of a veil but the naked shoulders have got to go. Still until the bishops stand up and say ladies be fully dressed when you come to church this will go on.
I'd rather have covered shoulders and flowers in the hair than these awful modern wedding dresses that make the bride look as if she's wrapped in a towel.
Plus, she is wearing bare shoulders that belong to a cocktail party or southern punch party, but not in the church. It is not a place to show off

ReplyDeleteI am suprised that this is allowed in Rome. In New Orleans, most if not all Catholic churches require the shoulders to be covered.
