Where President George H.W. Bush Began to Fly as a Pilot
The old Wold–Chamberlain Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bush began flying here in the winter of 1942 when the world was at war. I think of him every time I land here, and pray for his conversion to the fullness of the Faith. My own grandfather also began his flying here, as well, just a few years before.
