Yes I think one of the greatest evils in the world is Protestantism, which is more of a political and philosophical stance than a religious one. The whole notion that spirituality is solely my personal relationship with God is the general focus of Protestantism. I think this is where we can pinpoint many social ills that have resulted in self-absorption, greed and lack of concern for others. I get sick when people think that Protestantism is anything similar to Catholicism. To think so means the person does not know their faith at all. To embrace protestantism is to abandon most of Christian heritage. The greatest danger in the world today, in my opinion, is the laxity of Protestantism and the blurring of belief.
