One of the very finest men I have ever had the honor to meet.  He reminds everyone he meets of Cicero or of a Roman senator of old.  He is one of the very finest priests, ordained in 1951, and still doing the Lord's work.  You inspire us, caro padre!

Where President George H.W. Bush Began to Fly as a Pilot

The old Wold–Chamberlain Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Bush began flying here in the winter of 1942 when the world was at war.  I think of him every time I land here, and pray for his conversion to the fullness of the Faith.  My own grandfather also began his flying here, as well, just a few years before.
