In short, this is a collegio (residence) for poor lay students in Rome.
They have a funny policy, though, which excludes Americans because they are said to be too "wealthy." Otherwise, this would be my home.

Teach your kids what this word means.
When the sacred became uncool in the sixties this rite became uncool. But times have changed, per fortuna.
Take your kids to Holy Mass in the Gregorian rite as my mother did when I was a kid and they will see the sacred.
No Cranmer table here and no crypto-Protestant music either.

Not many know, but this is the tomb of Gianlorenzo Bernini in the Liberian Basilica (Patriarchal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore).
