Summorum Pontificum: Two Years of Success and More

Lots of success stories.

Just a few weeks ago I made a visit to this model parish located in North America (http://www.staugustine-holytrinity.org/), the Church of St. Augustine located in South St. Paul, Minn.

See here for Mass schedules: http://www.staugustine-holytrinity.org/schedules.aspx.

It's a fine parish with a fine pastor.  In fact, he's the finest pastor.  A holy guy, everybody loves him and he's just a really nice guy.  Leadership is something he's good at.  And he is pastor of two parishes; this parish is paired with another closest to it.

The Mass schedule?  This pastor has an 11:30 a.m. Low Mass in the Usus Antiquior every Sunday morning at this parish.  And the church is full?  Yes.  With whom?  Families: moms, dads, kids, crying babies, singles, elderly, converts.

And between this parish and the other twin parish he offers the faithful M-F the possibility to worship in the Usus Antiquior.

Mission Accomplished?  Yes, five star.  Future?  For sure.  Long-term would even be nice to maybe see this as an FSSP parish.

Lots of good things happening.

Now the news just has to get reported.  Go, blogs.
