During WWI Archbishop Sheen began his practice of the daily Holy Hour in this same chapel, located in the Chapel of St. Mary at the St. Paul Seminary. In later years, he sometimes returned to preach seminarian and clergy retreats in the same chapel. A gorgeous Byzantine Romanesque image taken from John XXI, this painting was set to be destroyed in the 1980s, but was saved at the last minute by the turn of mind of the Archbishop of St. Paul.
