Like it or not he was Pope. He made a lot of mistakes, but was personaly a very holy and suffered person. I met him a few times before his death in 1978. He was fooled by his so-called friends, who were the first to abandon him and attack him when he reiterated the Magisterium on Priestly Celibacy; on Transubstantiation; on Human Life. I pray to him often to help us restore what he allowed to be taken away, including the Tiara.
