Pagan rubble showcased in a plastic altar? A museum, vero???
Everything!
What is up with some folk who insist in creating bland fishbowls for altars? What happened to the concept of permanence?
Looks like some plastic just picked out of the trash. Typical Vatican II mentality. No wonder no one goes to Mass. Good riddance!
Come on, Romans! The '60s and '70s are over. The reigning Pope is Benedict XVI, not Paul VI.How can we petition that such monstrocities inside churches can vanish FOR EVER?
oh my God, no.
liturgical abuse, Cardinal Llovera, do something please!
"liturgical abuse, Cardinal Llovera, do something please! "nOTHING WILL BE DONE. nO RULES MADE OR MANDATED BECAUSE IT ISN'T "PASTORAL". UGH! Pastoral.....LOL!!!
I recognize it: Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. It is the "altar" that used to be in the cappellina della Madonna di Buon Aiuto. Frightful.
Candles and altar cross on the floor??
It looks like an antique font or basin has been encased in perspex. Yuck. The only thing worse is that the ornaments are bigger than the altar itself. I'm not sure which is diminished more by the other...
The horror!.......The horror!
I'll tell you what's wrong-THE REAL ALTAR LOOKS LIKE IT'S IN JAIL!!"Nuf said
I like the candle holder (candelabra) and crosss.
