The Lemon from Latium

The Lord has blessed Lazio with rich pasture-lands and crop-lands.

On late summer evenings in Rome when the sea breeze (ponentino) cools the leaden air, it's great to enjoy some lemon water with ice.

    Is it in fact an Etrog (aka Esrog), John ?

    I know they mainly come from the eastern Mediterranean, but I believe they do grow in Southern Italy as well.
