I would second that. I have just gotten the book that it was based on. It is very interesting and will be a relatively quick read once I have taken care of the ones before it. Rob
Much of it, buckled shoes, the roman hat, biretta's, Feriola's is still to be found in use by 'Papalist' Anglo-Catholics, they may return it to the Church via the new Anglican |Ordinariate's. That would be ironic, but a good example of, as the Irish say, "God drawing straight lines all wavy!"
Gregory Peck was great in that movie (the Scarlet and the Black).
