San Giovanni Rotondo: Home of Padre Pio

Padre Pio used to pray on this hill, now a Via Crucis with this magnificent statue in honor of the Madonna and Child.

    I absolutely love this image and have had it for my desktop background since you first posted it such a while back. I get so many comments on it when people are looking over my shoulder at my laptop!
