Catholic Puerto Rico

Talent and leadership and holiness.

The holy Piarist Fathers (Padres Escolapios) in Rome are great.

The founder of the Piarists is St. Joseph Calasanctius (Calasanz) who is buried in Rome on main street in the Church of St. Pantaleo (on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II).  One can make a quiet visit to his tomb behind the sanctuary - a favorite place to pray.

In fact his heart and tongue remain incorrupt also and you can see them, too, in his room there which has been preserved in the same state it was the night when he died in 1648.  He was the founder of the first public Christian school in Europe, the Pious Schools.  His incorrupt heart and tongue are a divine sign of God's blessings towards this holy saint and his many labors (his motto was "Pietas et Litterae").

Perhaps this is your vocation: http://www.piaristusa.org/.

Many thanks to a good and holy man, Fr. Raf, Sch.P. (Scholarum Piarum)!
