The Curia Generalizia in Rome


Many religious orders have their "motherhouse" in Rome.  This photo just depicts an example.  Many are giant complexes constructed in the twentieth century.

This is the general house of I think the Congregatio Jesu (off Via Nomentana).  It is truly a gigantic property and even has a lovely yard (giardino).  Would be nice to see a fine new order get this property such as the FSSP.
