Is he celebrating the Extraordinary Form? I do not see any altar cards (or the book used in lieu of them by Bishops, and I assume the Pope?) Also, the presence of the microphone. and it does not appear that he has his thumb and finger conjoined.

It's called a Pontifical Canon. As noted above, it's used in lieu of the altar cards, and, from the preface to till just before the communion antiphon, in lieu of the Missal.
