Interesting photograph. I assume that the two priests in surplices and stoles are there to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion? As a Domestic Prelate, Jose Maria would not have been entitled to chaplains at his Mass; he uses the altar missal and not the pontificale, as can be noted with the centre altar card present and the absence of the bugia.
