Prayers asked for a dear, sweet lady, Mrs. Velda Moore, a friend from St. Peter's Square, who has cancer (Don Jeffry's mother).
Velda, it was wonderful to meet you in the Vatican and to see your joy. Such a gracious woman you are! So characterized by good taste, comfort and ease.
I thank you for the lovely time spent together on the Borgo Pio and wish to see you soon. Your son is number one.
You are a good and faithful Catholic woman and a fine example to the younger generations. Life is beautiful and Jesus Christ is Lord. And, you are the lucky mother of a priest.
