This would make a great dress uniform. The present uniform could serve as a duty uniform, although the silly hats should be replaced.
The problem with the dress uniform is that it would be very expensive if materials were not modified, aspecially all that fur. The question should be rethought in terms of how often would they function ceremonially and what do they do on a daily basis and during public acts.
