FYI: This Sunday at St. Peter's Basilica - Pontifical Mass in Gregorian Rite

On Sunday, May 15 at 8:00 a.m. His Eminence Walter Cardinal Brandmüller will sing Pontifical Mass in the Usus Antiquior at the Altar of the Chair inside the Vatican Basilica.   All are welcome.  This will be the first such Mass celebrated in this sanctuary in nearly 50 years.  His Eminence Domenico Cardinal Bartolucci will conduct the choir.  These historical times we live in.  See you there!

    I thought the celebrant was going to be Cardinal Cañizares, something happened?

    Card. Brandmüller? The programme still says it's Card. Cañizares. What happened?

    Is this not the biggest deal since SP itself? This is amazing! A cardinal of the SRE pontificating at the Altar of the Chair. Is this not something we've all be dreaming of for a long time?

    Absolutely! Perhaps the triple tiara will soon follow. I wonder what the other 2 big news items are. Now Venerable Pius X11 must be beatified, truly the Last Prince of God. RPM
