IEC Dublin 2012

The Royal Wedding? No, Maundy Thursday at Dublin Cathedral for Pontifical Mass last week. Raise your hand if you see a crisis in the identity of the priesthood. If we don't get this identity, then we shoot ourselves in the foot. Read Leviticus, then Hebrews. And where are the seminarians?

  3. And some wonder why there are a lack of vocations in Ireland.

  4. The Archdiocese of Dublin is pursuing an alarming policy of promoting lay pastoral workers to the detriment of priestly vocations. Young men who wish to be priests are suspected of "clericalism". Meanwhile women and girls take over the sanctuaries, as here. Please, Holy Father, rescue the Church in Dublin from imminent extinction!

  5. It will be a flop. Um, wake up, your Excellencies. The Church in Ireland has already lost 2 plus generations. What Ireland needs is a WYD and NOT an IEC. We need a papal visit!!!!

  6. This is terrible to see! All the good and faithful Catholics of Ireland who suffered so much to keep the Faith must be shaking their heads in despair!
