You can always tell how old a priest is by his library and the guys ordained in the forties all had Tanquerey. Many of us got our start with him. Get one of his treasures and begin!
A splendid author, and by all accounts a fine teacher; and certainly one who understood his students - his Synopses are brilliant for preparing for exams !
