Pilate's Jerusalem Court in the Antonia Fortress

The garden is very evocative.  Today it is a Franciscan monastery.  Many pilgrims gather here to carry a cross on the Way of the Cross.  The garden cloister is a favorite gathering place for prayer and lamentation.
