It's called a Fox Moth and was designed by de Havilland: www.vintagewings.ca.
In the front with the window is the enclosed forward burgundy leather passenger compartment where the Prince of Wales would sit. It was built in 1932 and was operated by the Royal Flight. Today the plane is for sale.
John,
ReplyDeleteI've followed your blog for a couple of years now (and commented several times), and I have to say, you look like one of the happiest guys I have ever seen. Having a beer with you must be a hoot.
I've decided I want to be you when I grow up (I'll be 50 in June, maybe I can start then).
Prayers and all the best to you and your lovely wife.
Your cyber-pal,
