Agreed, at least on the Balcony and next to the Throne when the Pope is seated during liturgical functions. Hidden behind class all the time just re-enforces that rupture the Pope refers to as unnecessary and downright at times, unjust. We should see the Flabellum in the backrounds of some settings at times.
