"The Apostle to the Apostles"--co-patroness of the Dominican Order (the other patroness is St. Catherine of Alexandria!)
I am an avid fan of all things Dominican, so when I saw this photo I was thrilled, but I am uncertain as to what scene this sculpture is depicting. Who is the saint? I am guessing it may be St. Catherine of Siena, but I am probably wrong.
Looks like Mary Magdalene to me.
