He was truly one of the great Romans! And I think he is a noble example for us priests of how to "fight the good fight" even though surrounded on every side. Requiescat in pace!
Crd. Enrico Dante, a wolf in sheep's clothing. Dante was a master of deception. He was a devote Freemason. A Staunch supporter and devote of Giuseppe Garidald, who was a revolutionist, anti-Catholic, anti-religion, anti-papist, and a Freemason. He also was a supporter of the destruction of the papal states. How can a revered person like Dante support such a character? Dante was a liberal, one of the many who brought the SCC. What a man!!
Some of these comments are ridiculous. I know for a fact from reading that Cardinal Dante hated Vatican II, and the reforms that came from it, expecially the reforms of the Mass and Papal ceremonies. He considered the destruction of the Mass a tremendous evil, and had no real liking for Paul VI.
Those who slander him with being a Freemason would be surprised to know that like the good Cure of Ars, Cardinal Dante spent hours in the confessional in a parish not far from the Vatican... He was also a soccer enthusiast, being instrumental in founding the Rome soccer team!!
I just looked at the YoutTube video and had forgotten what a god-awful papal tiara Pope Paul VI received. No wonder Pope Paul was so anxious to give it away. I wouldn't want to wear something that looked like that. It reminds me of the Cone-Heads from "Saturday Night Live."

Regarding the silly arguments (Freemason vs. anti-Vatican II, etc.), how about providing sources when making such allegations?
