I note that, as well as all the reliquaries being set out on the high altar (and the Lady altar), there seems to be a display of church plate either side of the high altar. I am unfamiliar with this custom; is it the correct (Baroque) practice when a prelate sings Mass?
Can you give a little commentary on the top picture - is it of twin priests with the Prefect? thank you.
