    I think the priest wearing the ornate red cope is Msgr. Marco Frisina, the director of the Diocesan Choir of Rome and composer of the new opera, ""La Divina Comedia", based on the magnum opus of Dante.

    It is indeed the nuovo rettore della Basilica Mons. Marco Frisina. But why did Card. Lajolo not wear the matching antique red vesments this year?!
