What a terrible loss to the Irish Church. If ever there was a 'model priest' it was Monsg. Moloney. Most people did not know he received the equivalent of a Knighthood from the Italian Government for his services to the Italian Community in Dublin. Many Italians moved there after the Second World War. Monsg. Moloney, who spoke Italian perfectly, was a constant source of comfort to them and was a revered person for the community.
