    Isn't there a chapel built inside coliseum? If so do you know where and when the public can visit it?

    No chapel, but there was a Via Crucis inside that the revolutionaries of 1870 destroyed.

    The cross in the middle was kept sometime longer, then taken out.

    Pope John Paul II was able to get a cross put back in during the Holy Year 2000 which is still there.
