Meet Francesco, a Romae natus.
His natale solum is the Holy City and today was his Prima Communione (First Holy Communion) and he wished to celebrate it as an altar boy.
Usque a Romulo (since the beginning of time) great legends have been born in the Urbs and this is one seen today.
Complimenti, Francesco; sei bravo!
Dear JP i often visit your site. i enjoy the pics. I have a question for you. I think you know Rome pretty well! I am going to Rome end of June. I want to give my pastor a gift from the parish council (his 25 anniv) and he loves lace albs. He doesn't have a nice one. do you know where in rome i can find lace. we have a stream-stress to attach it to his favorite alb. or lace albs like the ones the pope wears???
ReplyDeleteThanks. sorry to post as a comment... i cant find your email. thanks, Roger D.
Congratulations, Francesco!
ReplyDeleteHave a print made of that first picture and give it to his parents. With that shaft of light falling on the boy at just that moment, who knows what he'll turn out to be one day?
ReplyDeleteet lux in tenebris lucet et tenebrae eam non conprehenderunt
