  3. Are these all bishops? If so, thank God! They actually look like Catholic clergy. Much better than the shorts/teeshirts/ties we see on some of our more 'liberal' clergy who want to be "1 of the boys". And so young(ish) too!!

    1. They're priests from an association founded in 1967, Union Lumen Dei. Today, Lumen Dei works with the most poor in 14 countries, which include Peru, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil Dominican Republic, New York, Miami and Spain.

  4. Lumen Dei---from Peru originally, they had all their superiors removed 2 years ago I think by the Holy See and like the Legionaries of Christ were appointed a "guardian" though his name escapes me.

  5. Father Rodrigo Molina, a saintly ex-Jesuit, was the founder.
    They are not afraid to be priests, and they do not pretend to be what they are not. Their apostolate, and missions in those poor countries are an example of faifhtfulness, and love for the Church.
